Courtesy Lights

my courtesy lights dont come on can only turn them on manualy they work in 2 positiones but wont come on with the door open or if you unlock the doors they stay on if they are set in the centre position ie the position that you set 4 them to come on and with the door open or shut, i have left them on to see if they go out after a time but no they stay on can anyone help its a 96 2.8 glx Edited October 1, 2008 by patrick

with a mk2 the center position is off! even in the door open position the lights stay on for a certain time after the last door is closed or the cebtral locking activated
